Pneumatic valve Rotax

The RAVE2 pneumatic valve can be installed on Rotax 122 and 123 engines.
The advantages of this valve are:
- Linear opening based on RPM
- Precision during throttle modulation at any engine speed
- Adjustable in seconds without removing any components (you can choose the RPM at which it starts opening)
- Lower cost
- Lighter weight
- Does not require connection to the electrical system as it is fully mechanical
The only downside of this valve (when installed on Aprilia models) is that it requires a 4 mm hole perpendicular to the valve seating surface, going through to the exhaust. This hole allows communication between the exhaust and the valve, enabling its operation.HM models are already equipped with this hole in the cylinder and can therefore mount the valve without any modifications.
For proper operation on Rotax 122 and 123 engines, we recommend the machined version, which, thanks to the additional mm of slide stroke, ensures full opening of the exhaust duct.
In 2016, a new solid-machined pin was introduced, which significantly increases the reliability of the valve, solving the common durability issues of the slide in this engine.
